What Is the Eligibility Criteria for the SNAP and CMAT 2022 Exam?

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Exam (SNAP) is a common aptitude test administered by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, Pune, for admission to its MBA/PGDM programmes. The SNAP Exam is an online computer-based test.

 

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a postgraduate entrance exam for all management programmes offered at the national level. CMAT is a three-hour online exam with multiple-choice objective questions. These exams are designed specifically for applicants interested in pursuing an MBA degree. The National Testing Agency organises and conducts this entrance exam in January each year. The forms are available to be filled out beginning in November. The CMAT test admission card and photo ID card are the necessary documents to be carried on the exam day.

Eligibility Criteria for CMAT exam

 

A candidate must be an Indian citizen and must have completed or be in the last year of graduation. The graduation results must have been announced before the CMAT exam admission procedure begins for the academic year in which he or she is taking the exam. Candidates are also qualified to take the CMAT 2022 exam online.

Exam syllabus

Verbal Ability: Reading comprehension, paraphrases, sentence correction, one-word substitution, idioms, phrases, synonyms, antonyms, grammar, etc.

Logical Reasoning: Analytical reasoning, analogy test, coding-decoding, statements & assumptions, statements & conclusions, causes & effects, number series, matrix arrangement, sequencing, ranking test, directions, blood relation, etc.

Quantitative Ability: Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, modern maths, number series, trigonometry, etc.

General Awareness: Topics include literature, politics, history, economics, culture, geography, sports news, personalities, current events, science, humanities, and current events, among others.

Eligibility criteria for Indian students in SNAP 2022

The basic SNAP eligibility conditions for Indian students are that they have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent. Candidates in their final year of college are also eligible to take the SNAP 2022 exam.

  • Foreign university students are eligible to apply for the SNAP 2022 exam if they are foreign nationals, PIOs, OCIs, or NRIs.
  • The candidate must hold a certificate of equivalency from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Before applying to any SIU programme, the individual must have all international degrees/credentials confirmed by AIU.
  • Candidates must have taken either the IELTS or the IELA and received a Band 6 or a Band 4 score in either test.
  • International candidates must have proof of residence, a copy of their visa and passport, and, in the event of a student visa, a bonafide certificate and letter of provisional admission from the university college/institution at the time of registration.

Eligibility criteria for specific programs in SNAP

Candidates must examine the eligibility conditions for the individual programme they are applying for before filling out the SNAP 2022 application form. For MBA admission in Infrastructure Management at SCMHRD or MBA Operations Management at SIOM Nashik, for example, a candidate must be an engineering graduate. Candidates must have studied mathematics in class 12 to be eligible for MBA programmes at SCIT and other institutions.

 

Before you apply, make sure you meet the SNAP exam eligibility requirements.

The SNAP exam money will not be refunded if you are ineligible to apply for MBA programmes at the preferred Symbiosis institute. So, candidates must ensure that they are eligible for the SNAP 2022 exam at Symbiosis college before paying the SNAP exam fee.
